Doctor Who audio books

Doctor Who is a magnificently successful series. It is said that watchers of Doctor Who can be classed by the first Doctor that captured their attention. If that is the case I'm a Jon Pertwee guy. But Sarah Jane Smith got me back more often than any Doctor. Audio books are a format that I hadn't really thought of buying before I was sent these two Doctor Who titles: The Feast of the Drowned, by Stephen Cole (ABC Audio, $29.95) and The Resurrection Casket by Justin Richards (BBC Audio, $29.95). They are magnificent. Narrated by David Tennant, the current Doctor, who shines, showing that he is an extraordinary actor. The range of Tennant's characterisation is marvelous to behold; I was drawn in and taken away within seconds. Give me more! In The Feast of the Drowned  the Doctor, Rose and Micky are drawn into a mystery below the muddy Thames. While in The Resurrection Casket  the reader is transported by TARDIS to Starfall a world of gloomy shadows and lost treasure
